Year 5 Arrows

Arrows Feb 2015The year five children participated in the town arrows competition on Wednesday evening. William Tell would have struggled to compete against Neal Batchelor, who was in fine form with his bow and arrow. He was ably supported by the rest of the team in posting a very competitive score. The children shot nine arrows each, and await the scores from the other teams taking part at venues around Northampton. This is another new sport the children have had the opportunity to take part in during lunch time clubs in key stage 2.

  1. I really enjoyed taking part and I was proud to be part of the team. Thank you Mr Mason and Mr Roberts for taking us. And, thank you to Mr Jones for organising it.

I wonder how we did and can’t wait to find out when I’m back at school…

  2. I had the best time of my life out there never knew I could do it and I never would be able to without Mr mason and Mr Roberts and all of the staff that helped. I’m lucky to be part of the team and wouldn’t have been able to do it without my team mates cheering me on all the time,so thank you to every one for there support.?
