In Science this week we have been looking at electrical conductors and insulators within series and parallel circuits. We predicted outcomes, tested a range of components and then compared and concluded our findings.
“I enjoyed using different objects within the circuit to see which things allowed electricity to pass through” – Issatu 6OZ
The classes discussed when conductors and insulators are used in every day life and why this is so important.
“A pair of scissors is an insulator and a conductor. The steel blades let electricity go through so it is a conductor but the handle, which is usually plastic, is an insulator and doesn’t let electricity go through it” – Harry 6OZ
