Hello Year 2,
We hope you’re all well and keeping busy at home!
We have loved seeing what you have been up to and thank you to the children who have been emailing us to keep in touch.
This week at school, we have been making newspaper sharks, paper plate seagulls and we have been doing lots of seaside-themed activities that link with the story ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch’. Have a look at the pictures below to see what we have created!
It was lovely to see that Harmony has been measuring water in jugs and she has also made a fantastic Paper Mache shark with her brother! Well done.
Don’t forget that there is still time to take part in the TTRS battle, boys vs. girls. Currently, boys are winning and we can see that a few Year 2 children have been contributing to the lead… Well done to Rudra, Arjun, Raphael, Luca, Nicholas, Mason, Harman, Max and Harrison! On the girls’ side, well done to Harmony, Billie-Mai and Amelia. If every boy and every girl in Year 2 played just one game, the scores would be HUGE! The battle finishes at 3PM on Friday, so get going!
On Monday, a new Learning Grid will be uploaded on to this page. Our activities are focused on a different book, which you hope you will all enjoy! In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact any of us if you have any questions or would like to send us what you have been up to at home!
