This week we have been looking at the book The Day the Crayons Quit.

We started the week by looking at the crayons feelings and creating our own crayon box inspired by this. We then chose a crayon to bring to life through interview using ChatterPix. There were some hilarious personalities and perspectives. We also solved Maths problems by measuring crayons using cm and mm and ordering them in height order.

On Tuesday, we wrote a persuasive letter from Duncan to our chosen crayon.

This week was also Mental Health Awareness week. With the theme of kindness, we created our own kindness posters using doodles and watercolour.

Wednesday morning we carried on thinking about kindness. We looked at the kindness challenge that has been posted on the schools twitter page, we decided to write someone a postcard that we haven’t seen in a long time.

Wednesday afternoon we had lots of fun at forest school building dens and watering the plants.

On Thursday morning we discovered that the chairs had quit! They were fed up with us not treating them very well so we wrote them an apology letter promising to treat them better from now on.

To end the week we are having lots of fun playing sports with Miss Hartwell and we are finishing off a busy week by relaxing with a film. We hope you've all had a wonderful week!
