From smashed eggs to plastic debates, we have had a brilliant start to Year 5. We are really proud of everything that the children have achieved and have been so impressed with resilience and positivity. This term we are studying multiplication and division as well as position and fractions within our Maths lessons. Our English lessons are taking inspiration from a ‘twisted fairytale’ version of Hansel and Gretel. So far the children have been really enjoying this. One highlight has been the property adverts that the children created for the gingerbread cottage within the story. Elsewhere across the curriculum, we are covering the Vikings, Video Editing, Football and William Morris. We hope you enjoy the photos that we have attached and we look forward to updating you with more as the weeks pass by.
