Some of our year 5 children had a go at making flapjacks on Wednesday night. They all had their own equipment and ingredients. Each of them changed the recipe slightly to add an extra flavour. Some children added raisins, some had apple and some used bananas. Of course they drizzled chocolate on top!

Last night, year 5 made boats out of different materials. The aim was to make a boat that would float and also be able to hold marbles! The children took it in turns to place their boats on water and put one marble at a time into the holder they had made. 

Big well done to Euan who managed to make one that stayed floating with 47 marbles! He didn't use many materials, consisting mainly of balloons and foil. 

Year 1 have asked to have a go tomorrow in their bubble! Look out for more photos.
