We have loved learning about fireworks over the last few weeks! The children have been learning all about onomatopoeia (sounds words) such as, "fizz", "bang", "whizz", "pop".
We looked at bonfire night and diwali, both of which have fireworks.
We created a large Jackson Pollock piece of splatter art outside, as well as some glittery explosions of colour in the classroom.
Yesterday we went on an autumn walk around the school. We looked for any igns that Autumn was coming. We saw leaves on the ground, lots of different coloured leaves and conkers!
There were lots of conker shells under the tree and we decided that the squirrels must've been eating some of the conkers inside... we even found a nibbled one!
We can't wait to see more of the leaves change colour in the next few weeks.
