Year 1 have been writing diary extracts as if they were the snow bear from the story ‘Snow bear ‘ by Piers Harper. We have been looking at making our sentences exciting by adding awesome adjectives and using some more complex punctuation. We are becoming really good at remembering our capital letters and full stops. We are also trying hard to form our Kinetic Letters correctly. Here are a few examples of our writing so far…. Look out for next weeks’ post where you will see the children experiencing life as an Inuit community member. We hope the children are inspired by this and their writing becomes even better! We are so proud of them so far.
