Year 4 Invasion Games

Some of our Year 4 children were invited to Benham Arena  to take part in the invasion festival. This was based around three main sports, Basketball, football and Tag Rugby. Children played in various skills stations learning and developing skills required to play these games. Well done to Phoebe, Amber B, Amber L, Lizzie, David, Harley, Mylo, Alex, Delia, Olivia, Theo and Jaden who represented our school.

Year 4's Top Ten Reads

Each year group has created a 'Top 10 Recommended Reading List' and we are pleased to share our list with you.

The 10 books are from a range of authors and include several different genres. Some of the books are old favourites while others are quite new. Look out for them in the school library or in your local library.

We would like the children to ty to read as many books from the list as they can. This can be either independently or with an adult. We will be reading some of these books as class texts during the course of the year.

We hope that you enjoy these recommendations and we look forard to hearing what the children think of them. We have book report sheets if they would like to write about them and share their opinions with their class.
