In Year 3 we have been Reading a range of books throughout the Term. We have used the book; Giraffes Can’t Dance, written by Giles Andreae as an inspiration for our writing in English. The magical wonderment and illustrations of the book; Leon and the Place between by Grahame Baker-Smith has captured our imagination and encouraged us to make predictions and inferences. We selected some poems to read and enjoy from Valerie Bloom’s poetry collection in the book, Hot Like Fire.
