The Year 3 children arrived at school on Tuesday morning in their pyjamas, ready for a fun-filled morning of activities based on the book ‘BFG’ by Roald Dahl. They created their own pair of fabulously enormous BFG ears to embody the Big Friendly Giant character. The children were also taught how to use the illustrator drawing style of Quentin Blake to draw the BFG. The main event, was creating their own amazing Dream Jars to inspire their descriptive writing. The children added a dash of excitement, a sprinkle of hope, a pinch of joy and many more magical ingredients to create the recipe for their Golden Phizzwizard Dreams. The children had a fantastic morning demonstrating their imagination and creativity throughout the activities.
